Lunch with the ladies- Mall Tavern
Today I went for a lovely Sunday roast with my friends from school. We went to a lovely pub called the Mall Tavern in Notting hill. I have actually taken some food photographs for this restaurant before- they featured in 'Eat Me' Magazine.
Afternoon Tea near Westminster
My mum treated me to afternoon today just off the Southbank at a Marriott hotel. On route to the hotel for our posh dinner, I came across a few interesting food carts....
Seafood
Over the weekend I decided to take some new photographs for my portfolio. The theme for this shoot was Seafood. Here are some of my favourite photographs:
Southern Thailand
Whilst in Southern Thailand, we went to Phi Phi Island and Railing. Both beautiful Islands that you could only get to by boat. Here are a few of my favorite food photographs from our journey:
Yalla Yalla
Today I went to a restaurant just off Oxford Street called 'Yalla Yalla'. This is a new branch of the company that only just opened before Christmas. It is a large and spacious restaurant, but this doesn't compromise on the little details making eating here a joyful experience.
Heston’s Restaurant- Dinner
Today I was lucky enough to go and photograph food at Heston Blumental's restaurant in Knightsbridge for 'Eat Me' Magazine. I arrived at the venue nice and early as I am always worried about been late! Heston's restaurant- Dinner, is actually situated inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and has only been open for one month. It seemed like a popular restaurant as there are 55 chefs that work there and the venue can seat 140 people!!!
Puji Puji
Today I ventured to East London to take some photographs for a 'Eat Me' food review. The restaurant I went to is called Puji Puji and it's in Dalston. It was about a ten minute walk from the tube, but it was worth the walk. It is a small restaurant serving Malaysian food.
Meat Easy
Today I went to a burger restaurant in New Cross called 'Meat Easy' for 'Eat Me' magazine. I arrived outside a pub in New Cross looking for the restaurant. After triple checking the address I realized the restaurant is actually above the pub. The restaurant definitely had character and the staff were so lovely. They couldn't do enough to make sure I was ok. Here's a few of my shots of the restaurant:
